Paul Carrezola

Head of Athletic Development and Assessment

Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Rutgers University where he played tight end for the Scarlet Knights football team. In addition, he earned a Master’s of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science - Strength and Conditioning from Concordia University Chicago. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) through the NSCA. Paul also hold a United States weightlifting level 1 certification (USAW-L1). 


He is currently the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Virginia where he overseas the athletic development of 400+ student-athletes in grades 7-12. 


Paul feels that the athletic development process is critical for all young people. The gift of proper movement and exercise empowers young people, creates confidence, and allows for growth physically, mentally, and emotionally. Paul is excited to have the opportunity to build relationships with the student-athletes Ballers and Bookworms serves.
